John Garrison On Leadership
 Encouraging Clients and Audiences
John Garrison uses his nearly quarter of a century experience as a nationally acclaimed non-profit CEO, his relentless battles against the tobacco industry, the fight for clean air, and the need for international TB control as a platform for encouraging his clients and audiences to become leaders in strategic management and advocates for public health.

Mr. Garrison was named by Business Week magazine as one of the top five social service CEO's in the nation. He successfully led two major voluntary health agencies, Easter Seals and the American Lung Association, into new eras and new directions, including the diversification of revenue sources and a new emphasis on advocacy.

In its December 2001 issue, Worth Magazine named the American Lung Association as one of the top 100 charities in America based on the analysis of data compiled while he was chief executive officer of that organization.

He is currently under contract with Cherish Our Children International, an international humanitarian organization and the Coalition for World No Tobacco Day.
